Day 4 - Training!

The girls training session at ISCA hockey club - in the rain! Striker! Nothing can dampen their spirits. One for the Brambletye Sports Hall perhaps...? Look who we are sharing our hotel with........ The boys having a team talk with H before heading out in the rain for their second training session of the tour. "Oh my goodness, a football!"

Day 4 - Match day!

The girls just finishing their second match against ISCA Hockey club in which they played more cohesively and confidently. Unfortunately, they were defeated but, again, they showed perseverance right to the end and we could not be prouder of them all. Team talks before the boys first match against Melsbroek and SC Oudenhove.  Professional warm up and everything! Half time motivational speech from H. Teddy in a 4 goal belter. The captains exchanging pennants at the end of the game. Final score Brambletye 5, Melsbroek 0. Fifa showing determination and stamina in the seconds match. All in good spirits at the end of the match despite being defeated. The boys played hard and now look to their next match for the victory. Final score Brambletye 0, SC Oudenhove 4. What an evening for a game of footy! Anderlecht vs Sint-Truiden. Absolutely amazing atmosphere inside the ground with drums ...

Day 3 - Rugby, gym, theme park and more!

Saturday fun day, with a bit of England rugby (and a win) in the morning followed by a trip to Walibi Theme Park.  A morning work out in the hotel's gym with Mrs Clark to start the day. Welcome to Walibi. Mr Holden's new mate. Yes, your children went on this....! Emilia showing off her awesome coloured contact lenses (it was a special Halloween week at the park). Mrs Clark's prize for shooting the hoop. Where's Messi? Prizegiving in the evening. Florrie was awarded player of the match for her work rate and perseverance throughout the game. Gabi was given the award for the player who utilised the new skills learnt in the training session, in the match. There was also an award for the theme park day and this was given to Fiona who was extremely brave on all the rides and who has really started to come out of her shell over the past few days, holding great co...
